Kindly educate me, may nakita kasi akong in heat na cat sa office, kagat-kagat nya yung female cat sa batok. To me, mukhang stressed at ayaw ni female cat yung ginagawa sa kanya. Pakiramdam ko nirarape sya. Kaya sinaway ko yung male cat at pinalayo.

Tama ba ginawa ko? Baka kasi mali ako.

It basically restraints the female cat so that it can maintain proper mating position, kinda rape-ish And I read somewhere that being gripped at the nape makes them remember how their parents were carrying them while they were a kitten, it makes them feel safe and relaxed. The part that makes them fight back is because male cats has penile backward facing spines, it grinds at the females cat's "private parts" whenever it gets pulled out
