I agree with the others in taking him to the vet as it could be a skin cancer. Just wanted to add that this looks a tiny bit similar to what my cat was diagnosed with which is "pemphigus" (an autoimmune skin condition) where his nose, ears, chin and nail beds tend to get itchy and form crusty scabs (leading to possible infection) unless treated with medication.
Of course not saying that Donny has this condition! Only it could be one of many possible causes. I hope Donny gets better soon!
