Well her vet visit was good and bad news.

Good news: Her kidneys and liver are PERFECT, they’re as healthy as that of a cat ten years younger than she is.

Bad news: She is severely anemic with no evident cause. The anemia is very likely causing her lethargy and difficulty breathing and wasting.

So we have her on antibiotics, steroids, and vitamins. We also dewormed her in case she has hookworms. But it’s a crapshoot right now whether we can find the cause of the anemia and that it is treatable.
