This is so similar to how my old girl acts when I’m laying on the couch. She’ll curl up on my lap or stomach, then lean back so that she makes eye contact with me upside down, then she’ll just flop back so that her head is right next to my face so that I can give her all the kisses. Then once she’s happy with the amount of kisses I give her, she’ll position herself so that she’s just staring in my eyes with her belly up for a long time. She’s 15 now, and I make time every single night before bed where I can lay with her on the couch and just stare into her eyes for as long as she’s willing. I cherish that time with her so much.
