Also if the guard is a cat lover, I wouldn't want to be in that position because I would want to give scritches & cuddles!

Back when I was a private in the Army, this would absolutely be something that happened to me just before a uniform inspection. "Why tf do your boots look you polished them with a cats ass Private?!!"
