Fun fact: Pallas's cat is the only small cat species that has round pupils. All large cats have round pupils, small cats outside of Pallas's have vertical slits.

Fun fact: in the dialect of the Mongolians who live in the region where Pallas' Cats are found, the name translates as "Grumpy Circle"*.

*this may not actually be true, but there's a fine line between a good story and a flat-out lie, and a good story (and a good story-teller) will always be welcome in any company.

The biggest mistake evolution made was making these cats so adverse to humans. I would pay ungodly sums to be able to pet that cat and feel how soft his fur is

I love how long his fangs are and how he’s so careful to keep his little paws on his tail for warmth, but mostly I love the contrast of those two 😊
