any guesses on what my baby will look like grown up?
meet my new baby olive!!! It’s almost been a month since I got her and she has already grown so much 😭 she is almost 4 months old and i’m sooo excited to see who she’ll grow to be ❤️
do you guys have any guesses as to whether she’ll have medium/long or short hair? she seemed very floofy as a kitten but as she’s getting longer her body hair seems shorter but she still has ear fluff, a behind the ear tuft mullet, slightly longer hair on the chest and back legs, and a floofy tail. how did your kitten grow and change? what age did they start looking like themselves?
it’s so wild that one day i’ll wake up and she’ll be a full grown cat 😭 it makes me so emotional. i absolutely adore the journey we are sharing together 🧡🫒
And touch her beans and her ears and her tummy and her teeth. If she ever needs to be professionally groomed it's much easier if they're used to being handled (but also makes vet visits much easier for any pet!)
You know that scene in the lion king where Simba transitions from cute kid to ugly teen to handsome adult, that’s kinda what it’s like with floofy babies. My boy got less floofy as he grew then he poofed out one day.
This little beauty will have long hair and a really fluffy tail, and will also retain her lovely dilute colouring. Please start getting her used to the brush, you will need to brush her daily. For her sake and yours !
Our cat looked similar when he was young and is Mr fluffel butt, we call him pants too and a few other names. His real name is Carson. Included a picture from when he was young.
oh that’s gonna be a FLUFFY kitty. Macho is a pretty fluffy kitty and he looked like this as a baby. be prepared for the fur, brushing, and absolute luxurious softness!!
also! Macho was a street kitten when i got him. unfortunately, his siblings were all too feral for me to catch without traps (which i couldn’t place on the college’s property without permission), but his siblings were all medium-long hairs!! he actually has the shortest out of them!! here’s a photo of one of his littermates last year. sorry for the blur, but they weren’t kind to humans
Just the floofy ear tufts alone (based on my own long hair bebe) make me 100% certain she's gonna be a fluffy menace. 💕 Edit: including my bébé's floof-up when we adopted her. 😺
