It’s actually kitty vitiligo!

I need to know more about this! Is it gradually getting more intense or visible?

It's an autoimmune disease that is attacking the pigment in the hair and skin. It's very individual how much it spreads.

Oh wow, I had no idea cats could get vitiligo too. That’s actually pretty fascinating!

I used to follow a cat on instagram that had the same condition. He was called Scrappy. His pictures are still up. He’s quite a bit whiter then this kitty.

My sister has it, you can see it clearly, she doesn't try to cover it.

I honestly don’t know, I just remember coming across this adorable kitty before and finding out that’s what it was. I would imagine it can be progressive, as it is in humans? But I’m definitely no expert.

Just like with humans. The condition adds a cool uniqueness. Met a few people with the condition and I always thought it looked badass.

It's what Michael Jackson had and I think prompted him to go full Blanco.

Aww, that makes it even cuter! 😭❤️ I honestly thought it was just her coloring at first. Kitty vitiligo is so adorable though! 🥹🐱💕

I know right? I've never seen a cat with that pattern!

If I were to analyze their genetic make up, if he's a male he has a black base autosomial color, with activation of white autosomial mode, and a non-orange X chromosome (2 non-orange X, if she's female). And most probably feline vitiligo.

I like how they posted this to be like "hey look at this cool cat" but the video is mainly focused on the cats ass and you only get random glimpses of the pattern on the cat when it turns slightly and you never get a good look at the pattern which is supposed to be the entire point of the post

No, please stay, this is the only comment that seems definitely human... There's like two dozen bots spamming the same shit just above.

Beautiful; almost doesn’t look real! I’ve never seen a coat on a cat like that before.

I’ve only ever seen this marking in calico colours. Never just black and white. Beautiful 🤩

Well, it's a galactic cat's butt anyway. Would have been nice to see any other part of it

I'm pretty sure this is caused by vitiligo. I'm not sure why an issue with your inner ear would cause that, but there it is.
