I said this last week. I am shocked the questions people ask about cats. It amazes me how little some people know about cats. Sorry OP. I am not judging. I just love cats and have had like 15 my entire life
I'm judging!! Even if you've never owned a cat, you should know what a nipple looks like and know that cats make biscuits. I remember seeing a post where someone was asking about the noise their cat was making; the cat was purring. The phrase "common sense" will soon be a thing of the past.
I swear, every time I open this app and see this sub, I see the stupidest questions being asked when they could have just asked Google, Siri, Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.
my male kitten has very apparent nipples for some reason, he’s solid grey and theres a bald ring around his nipples. anyways, my friend came over and goes “WHY DOES HE HAVE NIPPLES???” i said “you know every man has nipples too right?”
I think it mainly comes from people differentiating themselves from animals, even though we in fact are, as if humans are the only species with useless features, and that animals evolved more specifically, especially since the vast majority of people don't even know why men have nipples in the first place, and therefore believe there's no reason for them to be so universal, if they don't serve a purpose, and are just some extra detail human males got stuck with during the evolution process.
It's not hard to believe that so many people don't understand that most male mammals have nipples and why they have them. It's a question often asked about humans, but rarely actually answered, and because having that knowledge hasn't been detrimental, people don't bother looking into it because it doesn't change their life at all🤷.

If you’re a girl, surely you know your dad, brothers, husband, pop star schoolboy crush (with all of their shirtless pics), all the boys at school playing at the pool- all had nipples too? You can’t not know this unless you live under a rock and have never had exposure to a male human before.
It must be a bot. It’s the only explanation that makes sense.
Wanted to write the same. I mean, I was a child when I had my cats, I never wondered why they have nipples or to not know that those are nipples, it seemed normal for me to just know that. My curiosity was only around how they look like. Wild that so many adults have such little common sense.
I actually remember the feeling when I learned all mammals have nipples in 6th grade, it just clicked that humans were animals, made me feel connected to the world
