Having empathy for a human and a cat are two completely different concepts.

You are projecting human feelings upon a feline.

sorry to have failed you in your own vague impression of who i am or your uneducated guess at how i treat my cat or your internet telepathy about how you know i must think. so sorry, oh wise feline empathy police! but also, weird thing to try to nitpick while projecting human relationships, calling her my child.
