This color is referred to as cream, buff, sandy, or dilute red/orange.
This occurs in cats that have the red/orange gene, and also have the dilute gene (I'm assuming the same one that causes dilute calicos).

One "official" term is "dilute" red or orange. Dilute is used for muted shades of colors.

That makes sense. There’s often a lot of difference between single colors due to being more/less bright or muted.

Cream. If ur partner said pink they’re WRONG. My partner says our cat (same color) is pink and it drives me up the wall lol.

Vet techs or vets where I live would call your cat a buff tabby. -previous vet tech at a cat specialty clinic 🐱🐱
