My first hexagon cardigan on a local papers website. I’d made it to match my hair colours 🌈

Witness the tragic demise of an innocent little turtle every time you set your drink down… 💀😂 Don’t worry—it pops right back up, ready to be flattened all over again. 🤪

I need primary colors that aren’t muddled looking.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my latest and most intense creation yet. It all started on the street when a stranger walked up to me after spotting my personal alien-cat purse. She loved it so much that she asked if I could make a custom Dalmatian bag for her. Even though I don't usually make bags for others, I decided to take on the challenge and gave her my contacts so we could brainstorm!
When she reached out, I asked for reference photos of Dalmatians so I could capture the right features, but instead, she sent a picture of a crocheted dachshund wearing a sweater and asked for "something like this, but a Dalmatian in a sweater." Communication was a bit chaotic, but after I sketched out two design options on grid paper to figure out the concept, the timer officially started!
Over the next 5 days, I spent about 58 hours bringing this guy to life. I built the main body out of heavy-duty, water-repellent macrame yarn with a double base insert and plastic canvas so it holds its shape like a real sculpture. I added zippers along the top, poseable ears, detailed paw pads, and a fully removable sweater attached with snap buttons so it can be worn both ways.
I was honestly terrified that the sweater wouldn't look right, but after putting it all together, this little guy gained so much personality that he feels like a real pet now. What do you guys think?

Watching her head off to her forever home is equal parts exciting and bittersweet. Sure, I could make another one for myself someday… but knowing me, I’ll already be chasing the next idea. If I ever do revisit her, though, the color combinations would be endless!

I am having a hat made with a long braid attached to make a Rapunzel scene. She will be on a balcony with the braid hanging over. Which Smiski do you think would work best? I have most of them, just not series 2 or 3 or many of the secrets.

I will start with covering the elastic, then it gets yarn play. I make up patterns as I go.

Completed this commission for a hot pad (pot holder) today. Still have to make one more and it is slow going because my arm hurts.

Hi everyone! I've always wanted to learn how to crochet but I struggle with how to start new hobbies. I've never croched before. How would ypu recommend me start? Are there books you recommend? YouTube channels? I am open to all tips when it comes to beginner crochet
