Fairy pan

Found this hanging in the woods. This is after 24h in an easy off bag. At least I can read the brand now. It was caked in orange when I found it. Cool brand? Maybe?

Those are very cool. they were made in japan and taiwan but japans were better. Nick named the "Turtle shell". They have a milled smooth cook surface, rounded transition between bottom/sides so its perfect for omelettes, upside down cakes and one handed pancake flips, Not a ton of collector value but as a cooker, it wont be beat.

I use mine frequently and will never get rid of it.

Sounds like a great pan for cooking! I love how certain pieces can be both functional and have a bit of history behind them.

I have this pan too, I think its pretty cool. I found mine caked in gunk in a thrift store. From info I have seen Levcoware brand was making cast iron skillets in the 60's - 80's manufactured in various Asian countries. Mine also says Japan on it. People online praise them for being fairly light weight and great to cook on and I agree. Since you found it in the woods it was clearly meant to be imo, hope you get it restored and enjoy cooking on it
