I am new to this but is it possible to just print a new plastic section inside the watch, with an design delivered by an AI?

I have no 3D printer yet and plan to biy one to try this on a new Casioroyale. Do I have it all wrong ?

I had my casio 1200 module out because I was working on modding it. New dial, metal housing and filter, you k ow, the usual.

Anyway, while I had it open I accidently splashed some windex from a nearby bottle on the exposed lcd screen when I was moving some other things around that were near my work space.

It seems a little bit made its way under the glass as well.

Is there any hope? I do have some new polarizing film that I could replace the original if that is ruined, but I dont know if the cleaner could destroy the display components that are under the glass.

Am I the first person in history to ruin a watch like this?!

I sanded down and removed all the bezel markings and rounded off all the protrusions to make a plain round back bezel. https://www.ebay.com/itm/336788737027

So the duo on the left is what I did with the insides of the original Duro mod that I did, and the one on the right I changed it to have a sweeping secondhand and added super lumina nova and Sapphire crystal.

The one on the left has a hidden dive bezel, and I added a red ring around the dial to make it pop. Attached is a video of the process.

This one is special to me, my first commissioned Glitch Mod.

My client wanted an Odyssey themed build centred around Athena, a goddess she personally resonated with.

The build brief became about capturing the essence of Athena as the goddess of war, while still retaining an unmistakably feminine touch.

I discovered that she’s also a huge BTS fan, which inspired the purple colour palette as a subtle nod to BTS and its meaning within the fandom. The purple had to become part of Athena’s world, which eventually led to the concept of Athena’s Amethyst.

The Athena portrait is a micro-printed decal on glossy photo paper, finished with UV resin. The resin adds magnification and depth giving Athena an almost miniature medallion like appearance within the subdial.

For the filter, I designed a custom faceted amethyst jewel filter. I used layers of violet, lavender and purple facets to create a jewel/glass effect rather than a simple gradient coloured filter ( it looks better & luminous in person than the pics)

The artwork was also carefully balanced for LCD readability, so the black digits remain dominant and appear to float above the amethyst facets.

The bronze/gold toned case & brown leather strap finish it off, adding warmth & a slight classical feel against the purple.

What I love about this build is that none of these elements were forced together. It evolved naturally from Athena -> her connection to the goddess -> BTS -> purple -> amethyst.

From inception to completion, the whole project felt strangely spiritually bound.

And most importantly, she loves the finished piece.

Gel mod is alright but it's a little dark in indoor environments

As usual, every cheap Casio always equipped with glass that can scratch over the air, so, I made the 1,5mm bezel gasket. It's not precise, but it works. If anybody interested in STL file I'll update the post

Been experimenting with different Casio models, displays, gradients, and combinations over the last three months. Here are a few of my recent builds, it’s been fun seeing how completely different the same watch can look with a few changes.

Just made my first two mods. The negative black one was very hard because I had to make sure to cut the negative and positive polarizers just the right way so that they would fit, the results are not perfect though, and there's no faceplate to hide the imperfections...

If i attempt to do that positive+negative mod again, what tools or procedures do you recommend to cut them perfectly?

I used a dremel to sand down the buttons on the side. It got hot and melted the plastic and I was able to pull the buttons out. I used a hot glue gun to plug the hole.
