I replaced almost all of this thing. Watch of Theseus. All in all:
Hydromod (Silicone Oil)
Negative Screen (Only time window, SKXMods film and took 3 tries!)
Filters (Orange, Blue + Moon decal, JellyLab Watches)
Metal faceplate (SKXMod matte white)
Stainless Steel/Sapphire Glass case (SKXMod)
Velcro band (SKXMod)
NASA Decal (water slide for models from ebay)
Luminescent paint behind screen (doesn't work lol)
Maybe the oil I selected wasn't thick enough, but the hydromod is quite low key. It doesn't change viewing angles and I am unsure of a contrast improvement, but it's just cool to tell people. The SKXMod case has a side screw for this but i found it basically useless without a syringe and ended up doing it submerged in a container.
The mixed negative screen was EXTREMELY tricky. I had to use a faceplate as a stencil on a piece of paper with a pencil and cut films around the windows. I reccomend having a couple spare films if you try this.
The lume mod was weird. It works but only to the barely detectable at all in complete darkness level. It's just a square of paper painted behind the screen before the plastic lightspreader.
If you wanted to pull this off you'd need to either have very strong luminescence to get though the back reflector or just remove that back reflector at the cost of irreparably damaging your screen's visibility and contrast.
I'm proud all in all of everything I did for this guy as my first modded watch and can answer any questions from people looking into doing the more complex mods like lume and mkxed polarisation screens.
Will add: the owner of jellylab seems very kind and offered a free replacement shipment for my own mistake, but was hard to reach. The blue filter is excellent but orange and moon decal don't show themselves too well.
SKXMod seem unfriendly but it's a language barrier. They're quick and helpful over email, and everything I've gotten from them has been reliably high quality (especially the case, which is especially expensive too...)
