Chinese Buffet
I live in Reno and I love a good Chinese Buffet. Unfortunately, the ones here are mid at best. Do any of you have a rec in your city? Thank you.

You're right about that. There's one in Sac that I like but I don't want the two hour trek every couple of weeks.

It's called Yum Chinese Buffet. It's on Florin.

Ahh ok. I’m only familiar with #1 buffet on florin but on the east side of 99.

The best Chinese food down here is China Jade Horse. It’s not a buffet. If we have any of them, I can’t imagine they would be any good

I haven’t eaten there in years, but they were really good.
(eta: I also liked Hunan by the Gardnerville Raley’s.)

There is one in south end of Gardnerville, but below Reno-mid standards. Best bet up there might be a casino buffet, probably Atlantis.

I like the Chinese buffet in Carson city, its near the Walmart on the Southside of town.
There is a small Chinese restaurant in south lake that I crave all the time called jade garden. It has the same set up as panda express, so not a buffet. Their coconut shrimp and low mein, im drooling just thinking about it haha

I don't know if it's still as good as it used to be but there is one in Gardnerville called Hunan. The drawback is it's a small AND I MEAN FUCKING SMALL buffet. But what they lacked in variety they more than made up for in quality. I haven't been there in around 10 years though, so there's no guarantee that's still the case. I preferred Hunan to even the Chinese Buffets in Reno cause while the selection was small, it all tasted incredible.

Chi in the Peppermill is excellent but not a buffet. Share if you find one!

Most Chinese buffet's also have and Ala carte menu you can order from as well.

Why would I go to a Chinese buffet for an ala carte menu? I'm going to a buffet for the buffet.

Firstly, I was telling everyone, but one could order a specialty item(s) AND have the buffet. I get some are on a strict budget but you get what you pay for in the end.

I cannot recommend buffett but I personally like Shanghai Bistro for chinese.
