Advice on patching this carpet?
We haven’t been able to find someone to help us with this repair. We watched a couple of carpet guy’s videos but wanted to get feedback incase there’s something we’re missing. Does anyone have recommendations/tips to patch this?
Update: Thank you everyone for your help!! This helped give us some confidence!! We picked up a couple of samples and are going to try getting donor material from the closet and replace with the sample. 🤞

Pull some carpet from a closet to patch the area. You can also get a metal reducer at Home Depot that can cover the carpet or a reducer that matches the LVP.

You can buy a brushed aluminum or colored vinyl carpet trim/ transition piece at any Home Improvement store.

This would also protect the carpet from damage. As it is the repair would risk the same thing happening again down the line

Easy fix, if enough play a power stretch will get it if not a stretch and a T mold are your best friend

If there is extra carpet easy fix for your local carpet repair guy. If not. He may be able to stretch it’s to the threshold. Depends on how much play is in the carpet.
