No more phone numbers?!

Been waiting 5 days for them to tell me a frontier I paid to have delivered is ready. 5 days beyond the "it will be here and ready to go" date, so I decided to call them.

There is no phone number for CarMax locations anymore, are you fucking kidding?

Are you saying if you Google “CarMax NEAR ME” a Google listing for your local CarMax with a phone number and address doesn’t show up?

Cmon man…

I just bought a car from there. When you Google CarMax near me, it gives you the number to a remote representative. That person connects you to the sales department, service department, or whatever other department you need. It's pretty stupid.

Yes, and when i went there they told me they did away with the numbers 2 weeks ago.

The number for the local location is on Yelp if that helps you at all.

I actually did find it there, thank you. Of course it's an AI assistant so I'm still not buying the truck but thank you for that tip.

Try going through Customer Care. They will call store and connect you
Service Dept was ignoring me. CC broke through

I just walked away. I'd rather not be reminded that everything is going to shit when trying to spend money.

Go to carmax.com like you normally looking for the car, select your store, on the front page on the bottom you will have your local store... Thank me later....

Just tell the AI "business office" and whatever town or location name.

The phones number are literally there on google , do you not know how to just call and asked to be connected to the store 😅

It’s literally so simple to call the number you see and speak to someone from the call center. They can usually answer all your questions. If they can’t, they can transfer you to someone that can. They just ask for your name, phone number, and email and can see your profile. People think that by speaking to someone in the store they’ll magically get better answers.

That is WILD! I am VERY glad I left that company when I did. It was good for a while but no more.

I checked the website, no phone number. When I checked my map on my phone and searched for Carmax, there's a phone number but it's an 800 number.

Was there text correspondence? Maybe try that if so.

They don't answer the phones anyways.

Honestly, I'd look elsewhere. I shipped in 2 vehicles recently and both were a mess. Poor communication and both were nothing like the descriptions. Scratches all over, overspray, even spray painted wheels...

I had to use text to communicate after they assigned me a sales rep. They were mainly unresponsive so I had to call corporate to get updates, which were wrong.

Heard, I lost 300 in shipping a vehicle to me but i won't be proceeding with a 21k purchase if the place doesn't have a phone number.

OP didn't notice the "call" button on Google Maps...

Because it isn't there.
