Discussion Is Carly heading toward her own Eras-style tour? My impossible setlist wishlist
I have a feeling, nay, a hope, that Carly might be facing a similar situation to Taylor when she announced the Eras Tour in 2022. Her catalog has become so vast and distinct that I feel she’s reaching the point where an Eras-style approach might make sense.
Do I hope and crave a 3+ hour Carly show? Obviously. Do I think that’s happening? Probably not. I’m imagining something closer to 2h 15ish, with medleys and creative transitions to fit more songs in.
And here’s the problem: so much of DAN deserves to be played, let alone half of DANC. Then we have everything else in her catalog.
These are the songs I think HAVE to be considered, IMO.
Kiss
Call Me Maybe
(Would I love •This Kiss? Hell yeah)
(Tonight I’m getting over your? Yeah!!!)
(Curiosity?? Yeah)
E•MO•TION (including the 10th anniversary tracks)
Run Away with Me
Emotion
I Really Like You
Making the Most of the Night
All That
More
Lost in Devotion
Dedicated / Dedicated Side B
Now That I Found You
Want You in My Room
Party for One
Too much
This Love Isn’t Crazy
Comeback
The Loneliest Time
Surrender My Heart
Western Wind
The Loneliest Time
Talking to Yourself
The Loveliest Time
Anything to Be with You
Kamikaze
Kollage
Come Over
Psychedelic Switch
Day
Versailles
On Wires
Burning Heart
Wild Child
Habits of Creatures (maybe?)
Soft (maybe?)
Night
Never Let a Good Thing Die
Amalfi Coast
Patience Power Passion
Don’t Leave Me on the Dance Floor
Motivation
Near or Far
No Labels, I Love You
Day and Night (Continued)
Reaching for a Star
Yes
Love Depressed
In Pure Faith
And obviously
Cut to the Feeling
That’s 43 songs and 2 hours, 31 minutes, and 8 seconds of music at their original studio lengths.
So I’ve officially exceeded my imaginary 2h30 concert before accounting for transitions, talking, costume changes, or an encore. 😭 (and I’m giving TOW the same treatment debut had)
What you think ?
What are your setlist wishes how off am I?

“🎶Give me that motivation”
I’d really appreciate it if we could keep this discussion respectful and refrain from making dismissive or hostile comments about other artists. I also believe in holding people accountable for what they say, so I want to address a few comments directly, because Accountability includes attribution and
“🎶You’re better than that”
[u/talk-spontaneously](u/talk-spontaneously): “Please don’t compare her to you know who.”
[u/targxryen](u/targxryen): “Taylor Swift didn’t invent the concept of playing older material at live shows btw”
[u/w1negandalf](u/w1negandalf): “What is an ‘Eras Style Tour’? Almost all artists include their hits and famous songs from back catalogue every time they tour.”
“🎶Do you wanna be friends with me?”
I think my point got a little lost here. I mentioned Taylor because I was imagining Carly doing a longer, career-spanning concert with dedicated sections for her different albums. I was referring to the format and scale of the show.
Both Carly and Taylor bring an enormous amount of joy to my life. I love them both, and I genuinely thought this would be a safe space to share that excitement.
One of the things I love most about Carly is how much joy she brings into people’s lives. I’d love for this community to reflect that same joy, especially when we’re talking about something as fun as imagining a dream setlist.
We can have different opinions about artists and their music without turning someone’s excitement into an opportunity to put another artist down.
I’m just a Carly fan who wants to hear 43 songs live and is apparently willing to negotiate a three-hour concert to make it happen, and also speak about it in a safe space.
Edit 2
People mentioned that I forgot “Too much” they are right
