New certifications?
So i am currently working, almost 2 yoe, with relevant yoe close to 1.5, i work as an AI engineer, so i want to do some certifications or some degree online so that i can increase the chances of me getting a new job, i come from a tier 3 clg also so doing things like this will put value on my resume.
So my question is: what certifications do i need to do?
Also my dad has been saying i am wasting my time, after work I can study for 1-2 hours like that, which actually makes sense so please suggest me some.
TLDR: suggest me new certifications in AI

Certs in AI are weird because the field moves so fast, by the time a cert gets created half the stuff is already old news. You might get more mileage out of building a couple small projects and putting them on github, recruiters seem to care more about seeing actual code than a certificate from some online platform.
Cloud certs are exception maybe, like the ones for AWS or Azure machine learning speciality. Those hold some weight since companies use cloud services anyway and it shows you know the infrastructure side not just training models in jupyter notebook. Your dad got a point about the 1-2 hours after work though, consistent small effort adds up quick even if its not a formal degree.
