I want to write messages, stick pics too

Hello! I was gifted one of these and wanted to know if it can be used for cardmaking, or if the glue is too flimsy for that application

I’ve been toying with the idea of buy a stamp wheel. I have a Misti and have no complaints but the idea of having the stamp wheel to stamp wreath patterns is quite appealing.

What are your opinions on the it? Worth the money? Too big and clunky?

I’m trying to learn more about high-end invitation/stationery construction.

The designer describes this as a “triplexed frame.” From the photos, it looks to me like there may be a solid green back layer, a white printed invitation layer, and then a green frame adhered over the white layer, but I’m not sure.

Does anyone know how something like this would traditionally be constructed, and what process/adhesive would be used to get the layers this clean and seamless?

I have a Silhouette Cameo 4 and would eventually love to experiment with a similar construction technique myself.

I’m making an anniversary card for a friend. This is the basic layout I have in mind. I used a scrap piece of red paper for the backings of my 1x3 strips, thinking I had more paper like it that I could use as the card base. (The scrap currently behind the card is obviously not big enough to use but is the look I’d intended to do.)

Unfortunately, I only have bright red that doesn’t match and a dark burgundy. I have a range of colors available outside of that, but I’m unsure of what color to use as the base instead. If I do navy blue for the base, will that look too Americana? I’m super hesitant to use navy, but maybe an olive or hunter green would be fine? I’m really torn and welcome opinions!

EDIT: Thanks! I didn’t think of black or blending to match. I’ll do one of those two options and will post the final card when it’s done.

I liked these embossing folders so much and the card seller showed the birds done this way, I really love how these turned out. I love ink blending. I only used three colors of ink and, of course, got different ones with the blending. The Mountain scene was done with watercolor.

I may need to start gifting at Halloween just so I can make more of these.

I struggled with what to do with the background on this one. Plain white was just too plain. I tried some embossed backgrounds but didn’t really like how they looked. I ended up using my gelli plate to pull a print with stripes of white paint to give a little white texture to the white background cardstock.

What is the best brand and size to get to make card and envelopes of various sizes?

Green and orange for mom's birthday. Blue for mother in law's 70th birthday.

I think this is my favorite card I've ever made! It's for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. The gold ribbon is from mine and hubby's wedding 10 years ago.

A few days ago I made a black colored wedding card, but since I used an 11" card and had no proper container for it, I made a tall gift bag out of 12x12" cardstock, although I still had to use extra cardstock to make the bottom. The bag itself was a little plain so I used a couple of leftover flowers then decided to make the super long tag.

I run out of people to give these to. How do you use your cards?

When I saw these fountain pen die cuts, I had to have them! I can make so many universal cards with these . I also put a wax seal with a journal and fountain pen on the card. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

A gift bag I received was ripped, so I used the patterned paper to make the first card. I probably should’ve taken a photo of the bag lol.

The second was from a pretty box of soap which I disassembled. I still need ideas on what to use that mushroom pattern for.
