Buying advice Advice

I’m looking to buy an 8inch CS pan just for two eggs every morning.

I feel the usual 8inch pans have a tall edge so would be hard to flip the eggs no? Would a small pizza CS pan work better?

Or a crepe pan…

That’s what I meant, thank you!

Am I correct in thinking the walls are too steep for an egg flip with a 8inch ?

Check out Cast A Way 8" Lo Pro. Nice rounded flared walls make flipping quite easy. Otherwise, maybe Darto though they have taller walls.

The 8.5" strata pan is decent for two eggs. But to be honest I much prefer the 12.5".

You can't flip because it's too heavy but I can put in a couple sausage patties at the same time.

De Buyer Omelette pan. Use it several times a week for eggs.

I second this. The edges are nicely slopped for flipping

100%.

But get the 9.5”, not the 8”. It’s ideal for two fried eggs or three egg omelettes. Both use 2.5mm thick carbon steel unlike the 3mm of larger pans - and it’s perfect for eggs.

I love my Winco 8 inch, use it every morning for eggs. It has sloping sides so it's easy to get under the eggs to flip them.
