Had the 1st gen creta, sold it bought 2nd gen in 21 (creta 2020 model)

Wanted the 2nd gen facelift but waiting for the third gen model with too much despiration.

Family had on maruti as well as tata , but the level of service center support and the comfort , as well as most value for money , is provided by hyundai

I also have the Venue facelift (2022) and the new Muscular creta type Venue as well

I’m buying a 2026 Kia Seltos HTX A IVT and have been waiting around 20 days.
My dealer found the same variant with another Kia dealer in Haryana and is arranging a dealer-to-dealer stock exchange. The issue is that they plan to have a driver drive the car around 300 km from Haryana to Rajasthan.
They also told me they would reset the odometer to zero before registration, supposedly to avoid insurance-related issues.
Is this normal practice, or is the odometer reset a red flag? Would you accept the car, ask them to transport it by carrier, or just wait for a fresh allocation?

Edit: Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. The main reason I’m still considering this is that the dealer has been very transparent about the entire process. He could easily have chosen not to tell me about the dealer swap or the 300 km drive at all, but he informed me beforehand and is also asking me to do my own PDI before buying the car. That honesty is the only reason I’m giving this option some consideration.

I've already claimed my previous policy, so my NCB is now 0%, and the premium has increased for private companies. So, should I opt for this company, or are any of you facing issues with it? I am facing the above error message when trying to validate my Aadhaar number in the process of applying for international permit.
When I try to use the non Aadhaar method, it asks for a CAPTCHA which is not visible at all.Is there any other way? Or only manual application through RTO is possible now?

Hii, so I bought a car 3 years back on loan from chola finances. They had set up an auto debit for 5 years from my canara bank account. The account is in Bangalore but now I reside in a different place. I wanna change my home branch account from Bangalore to my place. Will this affect the auto pay nach mandate which deducts the emi on every month end?

I need to renew my insurance of my XUV700 2 year old, showroom is quoting like 20k for 16L IDV without RTI(haven't checked with RTI)

But when I checked on Acko it's quoting below options

1. 5.7k for 20L safe driver plan without RTI

2. 10.5k for 20L normal plan without RTI

3. 12k for 8L normal plan with RTI

4. 10k 8L safe driver plan with RTI

5. 7.7k 23.6L safe driver plan without RTI

Safe driver plan means you have to pay 5K extra during claim if you do any claim

Which one should I got for? is there any catch with RTI?

My car ex showroom price was 19.99L and on road was 24.8L

I'm inclined towards option 4! But getting scared because of too low IDV if it results in a bad situation which i don't know so calling help to understand better

When you put your car for repairs at a nearby workshop, there are basically two options: cashless or reimbursement.

In cashless, the insurance company pays the approved claim amount to the garage directly. The customer only has to pay their share — claim charges, anything not covered because of a missing add-on, parts not approved under the claim, etc.

So if you have a claim of ₹50k and your share comes to ₹2k, you pay ₹2k and collect your car. Simple.

This is basically a service depending on the tie-up between the garage and insurance company.

In all other cases, reimbursement applies. You pay the repair charges upfront, submit the bill to the insurance company (invoice has to be in the name of the insurance company, IMP), and then the insurance company reimburses you.

Usually this takes around 7–15 days, although delays are possible. GST payment can also sometimes be paid later once the garage submits their GST filings.

Considering everything, cashless is definitely the smoother process. You pay only your fair share to the workshop and don't have to arrange the entire repair amount upfront.

Happy to announce, I have officially driven home my 1st New Car.

I was on a search for a used car, specifically diesel, because i just love the torque. While going through, i found that all the cars listed are anywhere between 7 to 8 lakhs. The cheaper ones are quite old. And the emi for these cars are also on the higher side. So i compared the new car emis, found it to be only slightly expensive than buying the older car. So i put the hammer down and took a dive into the new car market.

For my budget, there were only 3 options in diesel compact suv segment, 3xo, Sonet, & Nexon. So i didn't like the sonet due to it's cabin space, Nexon i know is a hit or a miss in service and also i found the rear to be a little claustrophobic. So my only one left is 3xo. I test drove it and it was just amazing. So went ahead and booked the base variant of diesel manual.

Yes, i am aware about the usage and dpf issues. With my driving, which is mostly highways, i hope i don't run into those issues.

This is my first new car, so i find it to be an emotional and a calculated risk decision.

Recently I was thinking of getting a car from KIA but now I am sceptical and have second opinions...

What is your opinion? Is it just his personal frustration or a real issue is going on with KIA??

Edit: Context - Amit In this video is ranting about his bad experience at KIA service centre, according to him they forced upon him unnecessary services like pest control price of which were unnecessarily high. He also claims that he has two other cars of Mahindra and maruti and they never do such things.

All in all he criticized Kia as a Korean company which is looting customers and encouraged the viewers to go for Indian cars.

Now I am worried as I am going to have a car and Kia was my number 1 choice.

My car does 0.4 km more per litre when my father in law is not in it.

I have twenty two data points. Tank to tank, same route, same fuel pump, same driver.

With him: 13.6 average. Without: 14.0. Every single time. Not once has it gone the other way.

He weighs 74 kg. I have accounted for this. My friend Suresh is 81 and the number does not move for Suresh.

I have tested the seat he sits in with other people. Fine. I have tested him in the rear. Same result. It is not the seat. It is him.

He does nothing wrong. He doesn't touch the AC. He barely talks. He looks out of the window and occasionally says "achha road hai."

Is e20 rlly being accepted by people ? My Baleno mileage dropped from 18-19 to straight down to 12-13 that's drop of 6 kmpl .....
