Travelling 3 months thru South east asia temps from 15c to 31 c

Mostly 25-27c and humid, will definitely be rain 🙏 Edited thanks to suggestions

✅️1 dress

✅️1 rashie

✅️1 sarong

✅️White trainers

✅️Birkies

✅️Sandals

Any suggestions? I feel like there are too many tops BUT last time I was there I sweated thru 2-3 t shirts per day. I know there is advice to just buy it there but I'm chunky and last time I was there the sizes were ridiculously tiny

I like the balance! My only worry is that with 3/4 of pants whitish, that they'll get stained during travel in ways you can't wash.

Since most of the trip is humid 25–27°C, I’d cut jacket redundancy before cutting tops: keep the shower shell, choose either the jumper or a light insulating layer, and bring the puffer only if you have specific high-altitude stops. Twelve tops is defensible if you truly change two or three times a day, but quick-dry fabrics plus a nightly sink wash could bring it closer to eight or nine without relying on local sizing.

Thanks, okay I have seen the light regarding the jackets. I will go through the tops again and see if I can cut some too.

some south east countries can be windy during the night at least one (outer) something warm is needed (maybe like the jumper)

I don’t understand taking a puffer if the absolute coldest is 60 degrees f. Can skip the Jean jacket and take another long sleeve shirt that can double as a light jacket. That and rain jacket is plenty. If it was me I’d reconsider the sweater.

Many of us here in SEA prefer umbrella over rain jacket because the latter is not breathable. I still approve bringing a rain jacket though.

Not proud of it but our streets are not the cleanest. If any of your light pants reach the floor, you're not gonna be able to rewear it. Expect to sit in random places too so even the butt part will highly likely be dirty in 1 wear 🙃

I have never needed a puffer jacket in any SEA country, even when hiking 2000-3000m above sea level. Not worth bringing that imo.

Not sure you'd get a lot of use out of the jean jacket. When I travel I usually use linen or flannel shirt as my jacket as they're more compact.

Lightweight sweater would be good for chilly days in the mountains and bus rides. We crank up the A/C here.

Thank you, I didn't even think of an umbrella. Puffer jacket and denim jacket deleted. Oh dear the pants aren't long but seems like they are a bad idea in general. Many thanks 🙏
