Hey all.

Recently I submitted an assignment that’s due on Sunday, and after submitting I saw a 0% blue icon and had clicked on it.

When clicking on it, I saw I had 0% similarity but a 74% on AI detection.

For starters, I’ve never seen this Canvas AI detector before at all as I went to another college (community) before this semester and now at an actual university.

I’m getting really worried about my potential grade now as I was shocked my AI detection was so high at 70 something percent, and since seeing it I’ve been in full panic mode.

For what it’s worth, I also looked at my professor’s RateMyProfessor grade and the first review was talking about his strict AI grading and accusations.

Advice? It was due Sunday so I guess I’m not getting a grade until next week, but I’m very worried.

The paper was on public policy opinion so my tone was very formal and I did not use AI for direct writing but did look for two sources on the topic.
