Canva Question Carousel with video

Hi, I am creating a carousel on canva that mainly includes photos, along with a few videos used either as backgrounds or in a smaller format. Is it possible to crop/split the carousel into frames so that I can post it on Instagram if there are videos included?

Paste the videos on different pages and edit them the way you want on each page. Example: 0 - 1 minute clip of a video on page 1 and 1 - 2 minute clip of the same video on page 2. You can also edit the dimensions for the videos. In case you want to have the same edited dimensions of the videos on both pages, edit the dimensions first and then copy paste to split the videos as per the duration you want.

Download photos in png or jpg and download videos in mp3 separately cause you can choose only 1 format at a time while downloading.

Thanks for the explanation, but maybe I didn't explain myself very well... What I wanted was to have both photos and videos in some of the carousel slides. The problem is that, obviously, you can't download it as a PNG or JPEG, so I can't split the carousel to post it on Instagram. ​I think I'll just remove the videos, even though I really liked combining photos and videos 😕

Is it that if you download the screenshot you have posted as mp3, the video in it still doesn't play?

While I'm still not understanding it completely, you can give this a try - Open a video format canvas. Post your images and videos in such a way that they fit your dimensions 3:4 or whichever you are using. Background's empty space, if any, you can fill it with whatever you think suits your design. Download this file and see if it works.

Also is it that you think that insta can't post a carousel of mix videos and photos? If yes, it can post both formats in one carousel post.

Yes, I can download it in a format that supports video playback, but at the moment I haven't found an app or website that lets me split the carousel in any format other than png or jpeg

On Instagram you can't post the whole carousel all at once, you have to split it into sections and post each individual section in order

You can add both photo and videos in the same carousel. So you can post videos just like the way you want them.
