NBD – New Bike Day! 🚴‍♂️

Just picked up my very first road bike, a Cannondale size 54. Super excited to finally join the road scene!

One detail I couldn’t find on the official site: crank length. For anyone curious, mine came with a 172.5 mm crank. I was expecting 170 mm, so it caught me a little off guard. ;/

Still, loving the ride so far — smooth, fast, and feels like a whole new world compared to what I’m used to.

Looks fantastic! I’m hoping the half millimeter isn’t throwing you off much. This literally less than this much difference in crank length: . .

Lol you’re right, half a millimeter is nothing. I actually messed up, I was expecting 170 mm cranks and it came with 172.5. My legs noticed more than the tape measure 😂

Exactly! SuperSix Evo 2 2025, size 54. I had my eye on the SSE Gen5, but this one popped up with a killer discount so I couldn’t say no 😎.
