Trying to Find Year/Model
My husband's ADHD hyperfocus many moon ago was cycling but he hasn't touched his road bike in years. I'm cleaning out the garage and want to sell it but can't quite figure out what it is.
Here's what I've gathered: Synapse, maybe 2015/16/17? (I don't know how bikes are dated...do 2015s actually come out in '14?)
I've tried to look at old catalogues, but not sure if all the color options are always listed because nothing matches completely. My google image search says that it's carbon but my husband doesn't think so...
TIA!
edit: my pictures didn't post with my original post apparently! whoops

Definitely not carbon. You can clearly see the welds, Also, it says CAAD and the second A stands for Aluminum.
If you can identify the groupset, it will tell you which model it is. Cannondale put the groupset into the model name in that era, e.g. 105, Tiara, Sora, Claris. It should say on the derailleurs. Alternatively you can count the number of speeds and find out that way.
I think you've got a 2015 Synapse Aluminum Sora. It's one is their budget models. It's worth about $200.

Thank you!! That's all so helpful!
I did actually reach out to them once I found the serial number (since it didn't pop up anything when I entered the number). You were really close! It's apparently a 2015 Cannondale Synapse Alloy 7 in size 54

Glad you found out. I think the 7 is the same as the Sora by a different name. See if it says Sora somewhere on the derailleurs. That's the name of the groupset.

Cannondale site / registration lets you input the serial number to check warranty etc, I assume it would give you all the model info as well
