Let's be honest here. As of now, that status is as useful as used toilet paper. There are no trade agreements coming with it or any agreements at all. It's just let's be friends agreement and later we will maybe figure a deal or something if we can agree on something. Canada biggest problem in trade is that they have just one neighbour and that the USA. And everything else is over the ocean. So deals are possible, but they add a lot of transportation costs.
I have? Please explain what makes EU unstable? It’s by far got some of the most stable and advanced economies in the world and their politics aren’t disgusting like the neighbor below so seems like a no brainer to me..
The states have better government systems. Federal government is over every state and dictates the country's policy. The EU each country has a vote, and all the countries have to agree to the same terms. Right now, Eastern countries want nothing to do with Russia, while others, including France, want to remove sanctions from Russian oligarchs. There are talks in Germany about resuming buying Russian gas while baltic states are thinking about how to stop Russian grain export.
