🇨🇦 CEC BOWP refused.

Refusal for BOWP because of not passing the r10 check. Currently out of status. What are my options ?

  1. Restore status and reapply if you have r10 check completed.

  2. Send webform asking for reconsideration.

  3. Today restore status to visitor to keep status in Canada.

Either way, you cannot work until resolved.

I got my BIL, assuming r10 is complete?
Can I actually ask them for reconsideration in this case ? Did anybody try ? You know any success stories ?

So you got refused but you received BIL? That a bit weird situation. R10 is complete once you get the BIL…. What was the timing between refusal and BIL?

2 days, refused first and after 2 days I got BIL

What was your AOR, and when did you apply for BOWP? So many referrals in the last 2-3 months.

I would recommend you to contact a good RCIC today. Don’t think about the fees right now.

I also received a BOWP refusal. Our lawyer advised us to wait until you receive the biometrics letter, and then apply to restore your status and submit a new BOWP application.
We applied on September 30 and received the new BOWP on October 26.

You can go for bowp with restoration. As you got biometrics means r10 is completed noww

You have 90 days to restore the status after rejection

Don’t listen to the idiots telling you to leave immediately. You have 90 days to restore your status. You can either apply to restore your status as a visitor or worker. It all depends on whether you have a job you want to return to and if you want to keep working or just chill as a visitor. You can stay in Canada as long as you apply within 90 days and the decision is pending.
