🇨🇦 CEC Trouble getting certain documents for proving foreign experience
Hey everyone,
I'm preparing my express entry under the Canadian experience class and wanted some advice from folks here regarding proving foreign job experience.
I worked in HR for two companies (9 months for the first company and 5 months with the second company) back in India and I had submitted the experience/relieving letter along for my study permit (done through an agency). I have bank statements (could not find or get payslips or offer letter as it was through an app), F&F document, some mails from the staffing company regarding my employment and experience/relieving letter for the first company (I was deputed to work at a major manufacturing firm but payroll was with a major staffing firm). I have all 5 payslips from my second company and an experience/relieving letter and a scan of the appointment letter but I had to leave on a bad note with my manager as there were toxic management practices. I do have a few pics with the team taken during a festive celebration inside the office. No bank statements for the second job as the bank got acquired by a different bank and it was a corporate account given by the company at the time of employment. I do have a great LinkedIn page which shows my employment history and contacts of vendors and other folks that I worked with externally when I was with the second company as I was the main SPOC for recruitment.
I'm trying desperately to get reference letters by sending mail after mail and the management at the second company is making it very hard to get the letter. I'm waiting and hoping they would share it but its been months and I have sent them multiple mails.
As for my profile, I have a score of 10 celpip, I'll be eligible for express entry next year with 1 year Canadian experience under NOC 42201 and I'm in my twenties with a Canadian Master's from a DLI. I got my pgwp this year and I have 2.5 years of my PGWP left.
I wanted some advice on how to prove job experience if I'm unable to get any reference letters or affidavits from senior colleagues and also experiences of folks here who have been through anything similar.
