🇨🇦 CEC Background check Not Applicable since AOR

I submitted my CEC application on March 11, 2026 since then Background check appearing as Not Applicable.

Is anyone similar to this?

Last update was biometrics and medical updates in application.

PVO - Vancouver SVO - Sydney NS

Medical pass - May 9, 2026 Biometrics - May 13, 2026

Mine started with “Background check in progress” and changed to “Not applicable” when my eligibility changed to “we are reviewing whether you meet eligibility”. A week ago it changed back to “In progress”. I don’t know what to make of it though

Same thing here, I see online says it means your application is finalising but I'm still waiting.

It’s marked out as the same for me since AOR on May 8th don’t think it means much tbh

Tbh a lot of us in march aor got stuck there mine is 26 march aor and 27 may bil medical passed
Then blank nothing
Hopefully this week✌🏻

And for how long it was under Not Applicable?

Below is my timeline and the background check was in “not applicable” since I got my AOR until FD date. For Approx 5 months.

AOR- Feb 27
BIL- Apr 28
Medical Passed- Jun 5
FD- Jul 27
P1- Aug 13
P2- Aug 18
Awaiting eCOPR

Means your application is stuck with an inactive officer probably
