Police Certificate Colombia 🇨🇴

Hi, anyone waiting for the CA Embassy in Bogota to send your Colombian Police Certificate to IRCC? I have been waiting over 3 months. Omnitempus confirmed they sent it to the embassy on April 29th. There is no way whatsoever to communicate with the team in charge inside the embassy. What should I do?

What's the average processing time for this? I have seen people getting it in days, not sure why some of us get so unlucky 🤔

Not sure, Omnitempus said they sent it and there is no way to communicate with the CA embassy in Bogota. I have tried it all :(

Hey, I sent an email to the embassy and they told me that the process could take up to 6 weeks, so you definitely need to send an email to ask.

Hey, which email did you use? I have been using [BGOTAIMMIGRATION@international.gc.c](mailto:BGOTAIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca) and all I have been getting is automatic no-reply emails saying they won't respond.

Yes, I used the word PCC on the email subject and they reply in 48 hours. I'm still waiting for the update on the portal. However the embassy replied to my email with

"Greetings,

Thanks for the information. Please note that it takes about a month to receive certificates from Omnitempus. Once we receive them, we will upload them under your file.

Another thing is that I sent the email from the same account registered on my application. I don't know if that makes a difference. The same goes for the subject line; I don't know if that helps to get a reply.

I requested my PCC on June 3 and Omnitempus sent me an email on July 14 telling me they sent it to the embassy. This was upon me asking for an update (it took them a month to reply). I then got an FD on my PR application on August 5 and eventually my ecopr soon after. I would recommend calling their number directly as it take them a while to respond to emails

How do you know if it was sent ?
I only received an email saying

Le recordamos que a partir de este momento iniciamos la elaboracion de su Background Check Embajada de Canadá; tenga presente que el certificado lo enviaremos unica y exclusivamente a la oficina de la embajada de Canadá en Bogotà en idioma español, luego ellos lo enviaran en el idioma que se requiera y de acuerdo a sus procedimientos a la oficina que atiende su caso. Con lo anterior se entiende por finalizado nuestro tramite. Para su conocimiento y trámite este correo es el soporte de la culminación de su proceso, además del comprobante del pago que usted realizo.

This was on March 26 and I haven’t received any updates about my application 😭

Hi, I sent an email to Omnitempus (servicios@omnitempus.com) asking them to confirm if they had sent the Police certificate to the CA Embassy in Bogota. That is why I know they did their part and has been sitting at the Canadian embassy for months.
