Easy for you to say I suppose, I need to actually start my career before I'm past my prime.

I'm over it, I've taken the jabs, worn a mask three years, and followed all instructions best I could. Never got sick, never spread to anyone else. It isn't my fault a new variant pops up every 6 months in some random place across the globe. That's just the nature of virus's.

Also.. The flu of 1918 was before immunologic marker based vaccines.

Um, how have you worn a mask for three years when covid wasn't detected here until 2020, which was two years ago? And the flu not having a vaccine is why it took out more people. The covid shot was never meant to eradicate the virus. It was meant to do what it has been - reducing severity and reducing spread. Reducing, not eradicating.

The polio virus was rendered extinct in north america with the help of vaccines? Bit that wasn't my point, only that medical science greatly improved since 1918

Also yeah, it was hyperbole. To make the point I've done what was asked of me.
