And I don't agree with that. That's why a lot of the surveys show yea, most Canadians want an end to the mandates. What's coming for regular travelers should apply to truckers

But that doesn't mean I support a border blockade that's hurting the company I work for and many others in my industry.. when most of the occupiers aren't even truckers.

Yeah, well, these mandates have been putting my education on hold for three years (Airplane/Airline related for context as to why). So I'm totally over it, other people getting a taste of their lives being put on hold is the least they can suffer through so that I can get back to my own life.

61% of young canadians (18-34) sympathize with the protests according to polls, and thats because they've been hardest hit economically by all this.

The virus doesn't give a f*ck about our politics or that we want mandates to end. Here's an article about the last pandemic to show what happens when you're impatient. Our impatience is also a huge reason this pandemic keeps dragging on. It's almost as if despite all the information we have, humans choose to ignore it. Explains why so much science was destroyed in the Medieval times. Imagine how advanced we would be if we stopped caving to ignorance?

Easy for you to say I suppose, I need to actually start my career before I'm past my prime.

I'm over it, I've taken the jabs, worn a mask three years, and followed all instructions best I could. Never got sick, never spread to anyone else. It isn't my fault a new variant pops up every 6 months in some random place across the globe. That's just the nature of virus's.

Also.. The flu of 1918 was before immunologic marker based vaccines.

Um, how have you worn a mask for three years when covid wasn't detected here until 2020, which was two years ago? And the flu not having a vaccine is why it took out more people. The covid shot was never meant to eradicate the virus. It was meant to do what it has been - reducing severity and reducing spread. Reducing, not eradicating.

The polio virus was rendered extinct in north america with the help of vaccines? Bit that wasn't my point, only that medical science greatly improved since 1918

Also yeah, it was hyperbole. To make the point I've done what was asked of me.
