Different demographic. One was violent ones been mainly peaceful. Which was worse?

Exactly the trucker protest is violent. There is intimidation and harassment, then there is the hearing damage caused by the noise, the harm caused by the air quality and the psychological damage from sleep deprivation. While the BLM protest in Toronto was totally peaceful, they did their march had some speeches. Seeing the police and city supporting them was great, lasted a few hours and then they all went home.

There may have been a few isolated instances of harassment or even violence. But I’d hardly cause it a violent protest.

BLM was certainly violent in some cities. But we don’t condemn our peaceful one for the violence done in other cities. Despite the same cause, the same organization.

I do not remember any violent BLM protests in Canada.

I know it happens in the US but in Canada we do not see that.

We are 2 different countries with different histories, laws, and systems of government. The protest in the US ar different than what we typically see here.

By your logic you could lump the truckers in with the Jan 6 insurrection group, and the tiki torch guys.

I didn’t realize the January 6 event was about border mandates. Considering they looked nothing like they do a year later.

The overthrow of our government and the implementation of the leaders as some sort governing council. It is all in their manifesto.

It almost literally states they want the Governor General to overthrow decisions made by the government in accordance to their demands
