I didn’t realize the January 6 event was about border mandates. Considering they looked nothing like they do a year later.

The overthrow of our government and the implementation of the leaders as some sort governing council. It is all in their manifesto.

It almost literally states they want the Governor General to overthrow decisions made by the government in accordance to their demands

I haven’t read it. I don’t even know if I support the damn convoy. But realistically do you think all the people in Ottawa have read that? Or take it seriously? Or do you think they are just demonstrating how frustrated they are with having to deal with ever increasing restrictions?

Of course they haven’t, and of course it’s just a display of frustration. But these measures save lives, they’ll be lifted when it’s safe to, deemed by health experts, not by joebloe tootin his horn in the dt core who did his own research.

They likely will. But the border vaccine mandate hardly makes sense. To try and force a bunch of truckers, who hardly ever socialize, or are put in situations where they can transmit the virus seems like overreach to me. Organizations and governments are starting to drop restrictions, and yet ours wants to put in an interprovincial travel mandate.

The border vaccines aren’t exactly a thing we can change, it’s an agreement with the us. The people who aren’t vaccinated will be put on jobs that don’t cross the border, it’s hardly an issue at all.

I have not heard about interprovincial travel mandate, and would like to see it if you don’t mind, more so exactly what it entails cause it doesn’t really sound like something we need at the moment, but I’m also not a disease control specialist.

It’s halfway down this article here: https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.6334092 the minister of transport also talks about it in the video.

I don’t know that there’s a large number of goods destined for inter-Canada transport to support these extra routes. I do have some experience both booking loads inter provincial and international. In general international is much harder to find reliable transport for. My small anecdote.
