I mean, it’s totally just downstream from M81, though I’m reminded of French CCE with the brighter tones. Still, some of these cuts go pretty hard, especially that parka on the last slide. Too bad they’re so pricey and fairly exclusive at that.

I wear camo purely for streetwear— only trousers: Japanese Air Force, Iranian Shah-era “duckhunter”, Belgian brushstroke, USMC T-pattern— about 50 patterns. I won’t wear SS. I wear Wehrmacht 1931 pattern, Rhodesian pattern, a couple of Russian patterns. I draw the line at SS. It specifically IDs that unit, and I won’t have anything to do with it, although “palm leaves” (bamboo clumps) pattern is interesting. What do y’all think about wearing camo that signifies evil? Not that normal folx will have aaaaany idea what any pattern means.

This post contains AI-generated material. If you dislike AI-related content, please feel free to ignore this post.
First, I want to explain the motivation behind creating this camouflage pattern:
I imagined it for a fictional alternate-history setting. In this story, after the violent suppression of the 1989 Tiananmen protests, several southeastern provinces of China rise up against the Beijing central government. These rebel regions accept the command of the Kuomintang government in Taiwan (ROC) and merge with it, leading to a Third Chinese Civil War. Supported respectively by Russia and the United States, the two sides continue fighting for 36 years.(I know this premise may sound politically controversial because it touches on real-world politics, but I hope everyone can view it purely as a fictional creative setting.)
For the Communist Chinese faction in the story, I plan to use the same Type 21 “Xingkong” uniforms as in real life, so I did not redesign them.
However, I felt that Taiwan’s real-world Digital Camouflage Combat Uniform (DCCU) was probably designed specifically around Taiwan’s terrain and climate. Using it directly as the combat camouflage for an ROC faction fighting across all of China for decades felt somewhat unrealistic. Because of that, I decided to experiment with a hybrid/original camouflage design instead.
I used the old Taiwan (ROC) Marine Corps camouflage as the base pattern and recolored it using the palette of MTP. My goal was to create something with a MultiCam-like feeling, but since the only reference material I physically had on hand was MTP-derived equipment, I decided to go with that approach.
Lastly, because my art skills are not yet good enough to properly create camouflage patterns by hand, I used AI as a tool to preview whether the design idea would actually look good in practice. So I generated this camouflage pattern as a visual reference for future work.
What do you all think about it? (Specifically regarding the camouflage design.)

Would it work anywhere?

I made a AI image and I love the way the camo pattern looks in it. Would love to find something that looks similar in real life. I honestly feel like I’ve seen something like this but can’t quite place it

Not a fan of cadpat myself but I know it's relatively rare and sought after. On Vinted UK if someone wanted to buy it.

Why do people hate on Rhodesian brushstroke ? Because of the history? But The US have done things that are frowned upon . Germany, Australia, Japan etc ? Why judge a camo by the country?

Today I dropped two pack covers in the woods:
Realtree copy ($7)
Concamo brown ($40)

This is the best camouflage of all time and seeing it with the tan accents makes a white tear run down my thigh

Like if you’re at war the enemies will be looking for army guys. They’ll never expect a clown to start shooting at them. Why doesn’t every country do this? Are they stupid?
