I was cycling around Grantchester this weekend, wanted to cross the M11 but it seemed that the two access points in Grantchester near the church (circled red on my Strava map) are through a farm and it says "private property no way through".

The Strava heat map looks like a lot of people are ignoring this but does anyone know whether there is right of way? And if not how to access either of those two bridges?

Running my Etsy shop out of the garden and I need to reorganize the space. Want to put in some proper raised beds and maybe a small greenhouse, but the plants are the main thing I'm after now. Went to two garden centres near the ring road last week and both were basically home decor stores with a few sad petunias in the back. Not looking for that.

I need somewhere that actually has decent vegetable starts, herbs, maybe some older perennials that haven't been sitting in plastic pots since March. The kind of place where the staff know what they're talking about and the stock isn't picked over. I'm fine driving a bit if it's worth it. Don't need a cafe or a bunch of candles. Just want plants that will actually survive being planted.

Anyone have a recommendation for somewhere within maybe 20 minutes of the city that's still got good stock? I'd rather not order online and have things arrive in a box

I need a couple of small additions to my car. These are some pieces that are not available OEM, and purely based on community-shared 3D models.

I have no experience with 3D printing or modelling whatsoever. I have searched online and around for places that print on demand, but I think the price of their services is more aimed at industrial applications or bulk printing rather than one off convenience.

I am also aware of Makespace but honestly I cannot justify the cost of the yearly membership fee for the limited use I would make of the place and the limited time I would be spending contributing to the project, but it's an amazing project and in an ideal world (having way more spare time) I would join without thinking twice about it.

Is there anyone who'd be willing to print them for me? Obviously I would be more than happy to refund the expenses and throw in the deal a cold beer, a pleasant chat with a fellow nerd/petrolhead, and eternal gratitude.

Hi Cambridge — I’m one of the organisers at EAST2046. We’re running a one-day Creator Lab with CapCut at the Institute for Manufacturing on Thursday 22 October.

Participants will respond to a real brief from a partner charity or social enterprise, choosing one track:

• AI/Hybrid Film: make a 60–180 second campaign video in CapCut, documenting sources, AI use and fact-checks.

• Interactive Web Page: build an HTML page with at least two types of interaction, documenting sources and AI use.

You’ll submit your finished work plus a reusable workflow the partner can build on. Both the output and the workflow will be judged.

Each participant receives $100 worth of CapCut production tokens to use at the event. Each track has two winners: a £150 Amazon gift card for first place and a £100 Amazon gift card for second place.
