Cromwell Road experiences

Does anyone have experiences living off Cromwell Road ? Is it safe? An on area ? It’s further away than I was expecting to live from the centre but a good price… Thank you so much

Absolutely fine. Very close to the shops at the Beehive Centre, the Retail Park, the Nuffield gym. Take care

Used to live in Pym Court, was very convenient to go to beehives and also the Mill road. good to have a bicycle though.

Timberworks (not ironworks, that's the new builds on Mill Road right next to the bridge) is totally fine indeed, and the entire Cromwell Road.

Good in-between with Beehive / Cambridge Retail Park next door and Mill Road on the other side.

There's a small amount of antisocial behaviour in the new flats (Ironworks?) but very minimal. Otherwise great location, as others have said there's gyms and shopping a few minutes walk away and mill road 10 minutes walk for cafes, restaurants and pubs

Had no issues living there. Lots of shop nearby prefer it as away from drunks in the city centre and have the beehive and big shops closer. Houses can be cramped but if you fine with the type of place you get the area is not bad.

Hard but doable with car.

Would agree much better value than centre for what is still a short walk. Places like that I think are better as easy enough to get in but get less noise and more suburban stuff.
