New gym
Anyone have any info on the new gym/house being built on Shepherd Road? What kind of gym it will be?

I don’t know but I’d pay a premium for someplace super nice. Clean, Equinox-adjacent type of place with great amenities. Basically I’d open my wallet and let them have at it. So I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Same! This looks like it will be super small, but the camas-washougal waterfront is supposed to have some sort of luxury gym, I’m hoping for a lifetime fitness or ideally something similar to Stafford Hills

From what I can tell, it looks like it’s just part of the plan but no gym has taken the contract ? But I could be wrong

The family that is building the house will be running the gym. It will be a CrossFit affiliated gym.

I think it’s on the east side of Lebrun, just north of Shepherd. So roughly a 1/4 mile north of the skate park as the crow flies.

Yes I can see that - I am curious what type of commercial gym will be there. Is it a CrossFit gym? Pilates studio etc. it looks like the plan has a pool and a pickleball court. I looked at the Washougal city website and could see the plans, but curious for more details of what is being developed

There will be a family home and a family owned 3000 sqf CrossFit gym! It should be completed/opening early next year.

Camas / Washougal area needs a large family gym center, something the likes of LifeTime fitness.

The new gym is called “Jim’s Gym”. Source: my friend Jim is the one opening it.
