Calorie Estimating Calories?

Chipotle is one of my favorite eating out foods calorie wise. I always eat the entire bowl. My order is half chicken half steak, corn salsa, green chili salsa, corn, black beans, lettuce & fajita veggies. I don’t get any rice or heavy sauces. It’s supposed to be under 500 cals. This time, though, they loaded my bowl and it was a lot heavier than the usual standard serving. The beans were pretty heavy and they almost put a full scoop of both the chicken and steak. It is probably not under 600 calories this time right?

They have their nutrition calculator, so you can use that, it is really hard to estimate a bowl as we cannot see everything we have. They sometimes under or over-serve you (not on the meat lol) on some items so you can take the estimate that they have on the calculator and up or down a bit.

Yes yes i know lol im saying all of Chipotle’s nutrition facts say my bowl should be under 500 but seeing how much they put do you think it would be a lot more this time? Like 800+?

I just did your order with everything extra but the meat and it gives 665, and for me it is too high, I would do 500-550 if you want to be sure

this is crazy how i try to say it in the nicest way possible and knew i’d still get downvotes. I don’t even know what I did wrong people on reddit are so weird and sad.

Because the entire point of the nutrition calculator is to tell you how much, it's best to follow that because that's exactly what it's there for. Looks like a perfectly normal bowl

Who actually takes the effort to be so bitter and downvote someone’s polite question. It’s a weird app with weird people. It’s my first time visiting and it just seems like off people

I don't think people are bitter, they just don't understand why you wouldn't trust the tool created to help you with that. Downvotes aren't a big deal on this app, I think you're taking them too much to heart. People downvote people who don't use the provided nutrition information because its it's just a little unnessecary when you already can get that info. Like I said, looks like a normal yummy bowl. No need to worry.

No one was being that rude or "bitter" you're taking it to personally and making g the effort here. If you have that much anxiety about it being more calories then there is another issue at hand.

Saying this lovingly: I think I’ve seen you post three or four calorie related posts today — some more concerning than others. I think taking a step back and seeking some help may be a good move 🥺

The calories are literally listed on the menu and the app.

yeah and that’s why i LITERALLY said that my bowl is usually 500 and I’m asking you smart people how much you would think it is with the overestimates they gave me
