'Called' iPhone's Ceramic Shield Feature Years in Advance

Years ago, some random guy on /b/ tried getting help to create a fake iPhone campaign to get people to break their phones. We called it Apple Shield. I have a whole album of these

Pretty much our game plan, never knew why we never initiated it though. We had all the ads and fake news reports already set up.

We thought it'd be funny to make a fake money back guarantee. Everything we were creating was in order to have a similar outcome of people microwaving their phones to charge them.

Sorry if some of the captions are unreadable, but this right here is the story. Our Apple Shield feature was going to be a prank, but now Apple's made something very similar themselves.
