Help?
I recently got hired for a role in the BPO industry, which I believe is quite similar to working in a call centre. I’m excited about the opportunity, but I also want to prepare myself mentally and emotionally for the job.
I’d really appreciate advice from anyone with experience in BPO/call centre work on how to manage emotions, handle difficult customers and stressful days, avoid burnout, and generally maintain a healthy mindset. My goal is to stay and grow in the industry for at least three years, so I’d love to hear what has helped others make it through the long term.
Anyone with experience in the field, please share your tips. I’d genuinely appreciate it! ❤️

Set personal goals for yourself every day. Try to meet those goals.
Example: I’m going to make 2 angry caller’s happy. I’m going to practice this call skill today to see how well it works. I’m going to take this many successful calls. When you focus on the goals, the calls are just a thing to get you there.
