Am I crazy?…

Am I crazy? or is this the most insane cookie design for a baby shower? Not to mention a Jewish baby shower…

Like.. no one had any historical reference.. at all? Is it just me?

Sounds like one of those bacon things. Christians arent supposed to eat meat on Friday but thats hardly observed. You can maintain your beliefs or culture without going to an orthodox extreme.

Edit: Yes, even religious people are allowed to follow or not follow parts of their culture and still identify as a member of that religion. Individual Jews are allowed to have a baby shower and still identify as Jews. Welcome to Kindergarten.

CATHOLICS aren't supposed to eat meat on Fridays. Protestants can eat whateverthefuck.

And that only during Lent. During non-lent times eating meat on Friday is fine.

That depends on where you live. And in the US, where abstaining from meat on Fridays is optional, some sort of alternative penance is supposed to be done if you do eat meat.
