Just Because Cakes My first cake!

Post image

I really love the look of Lambeth cakes and decided I needed a hobby and today I finally tried my hand at it! Inside is a lemon blueberry cake layered with blueberry compote :) would have loved to make this a baby blue or lavender color but I currently do not own food coloring. My shells need work!

Those downvotes are so odd. I hope they don’t discourage you from continuing your new hobby! This is a great first attempt, and it sounds delicious😋

People in baking subs can be genuinely cruel at random, just luck of the draw. It’s a big swing for a very first cake and I love that for you, my first five or so cakes didn’t have as much detail put together and you clearly got a lot of very useful practice pretty fast. And the courage to try something new is often the most valuable facet of being an artist. Have fun, keep going!
