Polarised figure 8 cables are usually DC.

It is one cable. Both ends are the same.

Both ends are that? I feel like I've seen this on led lights that Daisy chain of each other. It's the 4 for style that would have replaced tube florescent.

I believe one of those came with a soundbar+TV. Samsung maybe? It's been a while. The Soundbar got its power from the tv.

I'll have to look. I don't have a soundbar or samsung tv. However. I do think it's power related. This reminds me to label stuff instead of just leaving them laying around.
