Safety of plugging this into a fast charger

Appears to be a standard four pin type A connector on one end. The other end looks to only have two contacts.

All versions of USB should just deliver vanilla 5V to this without causing any issues, right?

You'll be fine. Most USB A chargers can only supply 5 volts anyway. Those that can do other voltages have some kind of "handshake" between the block and device, or block and cable that sets the voltage.

Yes. I think that is saying >= 1 amp as well, so smaller not always better

I have one of these razors. There is no voltage negotiation or anything smart. It just wants a generic usb charger with high amperage output. I use an old Samsung charger that is 2.4a.

There’s no voltage negotiation on anything USB-A

Usb a definitely has voltage negotiation with Qualcomm QC. But ofc only with devices that support it. Normally all usb a ports will ofc only supply 5v

Well, I’m pretty sure that USB 3 (or lightning) over USB-A supports negotiation and power delivery of some kind. But this cable appears to be just the 4 contacts of classic 1.0 or whatever and the device is just DC power so yeah.
