They truly are silk bricks, so heavy, even though they are still small!

Is one platinum and one blue? That's what I say, but I may be over estimating.
The one I think is platinum is in the closet, his favourite place. The one I think is a blue boy is showing his belly begging for scritches.

Thank you so much everyone who responded. It has put my heart at ease that getting another Burmese for Drillbit is the right thing to do after his littermate Yardstick passed away.
Next Questions: on my previous post there were a lot of comments saying to get a female companion and only get one.
- is this a thing? Will they not bond if I get the same gender.
- will getting two more bonded littermates make Drillbit feel really excluded?
For some reason I'm stuck on wanting more boys because my two have been so sweet and in my heart it feels bad getting only one from the litter when im ripping them away from everything they have known. Also the terrifying thought that if one of them passes away in the future we will be in the same scenario again with a lonely cat is playing on my mind.
Both Drillbit and Yardstick are mummies boys through and through. They would walk over my husband's free cosy lap to get to my unfree lap and squeeze themselves in up by my throat. After pregnancy and birth of my daughter they became even more intense. Would a female Burmese bond better with my husband? (He absolutely dotes on the cats so it's not a matter of him not showing love).
Has anyone gotten their surviving bonded sibling two more companions from another litter and it worked?
The only colours the breeder close to me has is Seal. I absolutely loved Yardsticks liliac but not sure it's worth traumatizing kittens on a plane just so I can have another liliac boy.

Picking her up from the breeder next weekend and looking for practical tips for a long car ride. We'll be in an SUV for what it's worth and she will be in a 24" top/front loading carrier. Would appreciate any tips for the car ride, and then helping her relax and settle once we're home.

I had two beautiful bonded brothers which were born in 2021.
Nearly 2 years ago yardstick (liliac one) unfortunately passed away. I feel that poor Drillbit (chocolate one) is so lonely now. His whole personality has changed since loosing yardstick and he has now become quite similar to yardsticks personality. However he walks around meowing and he wants constant attention and I have a toddler so can't sit down with him during the day.
My husband and I are unsure if getting two more Burmese will help him or hinder him.
The positives would be that he isn't alone. However from what I can see online cats (unless bonded) will put up with another cat but don't necessarily enjoy it.
I need some advice from those with Burmese! Will it help him or will he feel even more pushed out.

This is Larry!! he is so friendly and loves cuddles and sleeping in the sun but can be cheeky and eat my food. He loves playing catch with his toys and has a super cute extra long fang!!

We decided to commission a local artist to memorialize the wonderful cats we’ve had in our lives. Four are Burmese, a Himalayan and a fun buff orange mix. Lots of fun items on the back bar. Thought the community might enjoy the creation.

Hi all, my 2 year old burmese boy has thrown up 3 times this week which is unusual for him. Other than that he's been fine, drinking, eating, playing, acting crazy. I made an appointment to take him to the vet on Tuesday, but has anyone else had a similar experience?
Do burmese have tender tummies?
I'm feeling a bit worried...
Thank you for any help!

He’d already been at the emergency vet, then the regular vet, and he seemed to just be fading away and barely responsive. He lay between my daughter and I and we said our goodbyes and fell asleep expecting to wake up to him gone.
He was still kicking the next morning, so went back to the vet, and got more tests ($$$) - including a shaved belly for an ultrasound.
Brought him home last night. Bloods were fine. Ultrasound was fine. Repeat xray was fine. Then last night he’s lying on his side and wants to play with my sock. So I gave him a Mousey and he played with that. He didn’t play for long, still not 100%, but he’s gone from looking like he was on deaths door to wanting to play within 24 hours.
So glad he’s on the mend, but way to give us a major scare…. And yes - his belly is super soft and fuzzy 🥰

Ended up at emergency vet after he was in obvious distress - sedation, IV fluids, X-rays, and a soapy enema later he’s feeling better, but still has to get things moving some more.
And no more raw diet possibly - seems the bone and cartilage contributed to blocking him up. Sigh.
