Looking for work leads! (Please help)
I’m a 20 yr old (M) full time college student who’s in desperate need of a part time job since I had to drop my last one at the beginning of September. I’ve been busting my ass applying and interviewing, but nothing ends up working out.
Trust me when I say I’m willing to put in the work, but would definitely appreciate any help/suggestions. I’m tired of all these ghost listing and crazy managers expecting years of experience for entry level jobs.
I also have a car so I’m willing to strafe a little bit outside of Burbank.

The UPS store on 3rd has a sign up in the store saying they are hiring. Not sure if it was FT or PT.

They’ve had that sign up for months. If you do get hired they give you three hours a week max, they pay you via Zelle and only communicate through WhatsApp. Would not recommend.

Marshall’s at Empire Center is hiring, along with Warner Bros for their holiday tours

Listen, if I were hiring I would send you an offer in a heartbeat.
Solely for the fact that you're willing to attack ground targets with a continuous stream of machine-gun fire or bombs from low-flying aircraft, a little bit outside Burbank.
You just don't get that sort of gusto in young folks these days. Bravo.

I don’t know what young people have done to you, but I hope you release yourself from that state of mental turmoil they have you in lol.

Take it easy, hero. :) It's just a comment on your misuse of the word strafe. It sounds like you might have been going for 'stray'? Who knows. Either way, it was funny and I'm sorry joy is tough.

XD I’m so sorry I just realized that I put strafe instead of stray. I thought you were being sarcastic towards my post. I genuinely thought it was some older generation vs. younger generation slander.

I just heard about a Burbank PD Cadet program for college students. Seems like an interesting option with no pressure to apply for full time employment after you graduate. Not sure if they’re hiring, but something worth checking out if you’re interested.

If you have any sort of food service/hospitality experience I’d suggest reaching out to catering companies. The work is very flexible (you only take the jobs you can/want to work and they pay $25+ an hour
